This week, having been assured that
John wasn't going to be there, I brought along games that would only take
up to four players. Then, of course, John turned up and we had to change
the plans. We decided upon Medieval Merchant, even though I thought we'd
played it quite recently. On checking, we found it was over 12 months ago
when it last hit the table, much to my astonishment.
We'd all played before except for John
and he seemed to enjoy it a lot. I tried to keep out of other people's way
and concentrated on having a presence in every region. Nige and Mark K
seemed to control the most valuable towns but Mark didn't make it to some
of the southern regions. We all thought Nige had won easily but it turned
out to be much closer than we expected with Nige squeaking another win -
that's two weeks running!!!
